To new shores with MAYFLOWER

Munich/Würzburg, July 28, 2006. The MAYFLOWER System House in Munich announces that Version 5.1 of its free popular open source groupware suite “PHProjekt” is available immediately and ready for download.

Apart from the continuous improvements contained in every new release version, several modules have been completely reworked, in particular:

• the extended mail client
• the functional extensions in the calendar
• the reworked and improved list view
• the timecard, which has received some new functions
• the reworked setup routine
• and the chat, which can now be used either in an AJAX or in “accessible mode”.

To protect PHProjekt from external attacks, many security features have been implemented. In installations accessed by the Internet, the confidentiality of data has been further strengthened.

MAYFLOWER as main developer offers consultation and implementation support for PHProjekt. Companies profit from the great flexibility of the groupware, which can easily be customized to existing processes and structures. This is guaranteed by the modular structure of the solution, which can be extended as required to include further functions and interfaces to existing IT systems.
